As an artist I work on a very intuitive level and know that when I think too much I will block myself creatively.
This makes it difficult to write about my work as I'm sure that the meaning for me will be different than the meaning for you.
All three of these very different pieces are self-portraits taken from various times in my life. They all contain images of a part of me.
Genetic Pluperfect Self Portrait is the most traditional in that it has a full image of me as a young dancer, but also incorporates images of my mother and an unknown relative from Ireland.
